Stanford University
Luigi Pistaferri is the Ray Lyman Wilbur Professor of Economics at Stanford University and the Ralph Landau Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic and Policy Research. He is also Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Center for Economics and Policy Research, and IZA. He was elected Fellow of the Econometric Society in 2016 and Fellow of the Society of Labor Economists in 2024. During the 2012-17 period he was one of the co-editors of the American Economic Review. He is currently serving as co-editor of the Journal of Political Economy.
